ITINERARY - HOWTH COASTAL HIKE
1. HOWTH MARKET, BODEGA CAFE Meet your leader at the entrance to Howth Market opposite Howth Train Station at 12:00. Stores for snacks and public toilets are nearby.
2. ST. MARY'S ABBEY Walk up through Howth Village visiting St Mary's Abbey founded by the Viking King Sitric in 1042
3. HOWTH VILLAGE Howth Village is a traditional Irish Village that seamlessly blends history with natural beauty, making it a delightful destination for locals and tourists.
4. DUNHILL Dunhill is a perfect opportunity to see the panoramic view on offer.
5. BEN OF HOWTH Climb to the highest point on the peninsula to panoramic views north, south, east and west
6. THE SUMMIT Take a pause here before descending the Cliff Path. Refreshments and public toilets can be found here.
7. LIGHTHOUSE AND BAY VIEW Take time to pause at the Summit overlooking the Baily Lighthouse, Dublin Bay and Wicklow mountains

ITINERARY - PANORAMIC E-BIKE TOUR
1. HOWTH YACHT CLUB, MEETING POINT Meet - Howth at 11:00, outside Howth Yacht Club - right-hand side of the front door as you are facing the building- Middle Pier
2. HARBOUR WEST PIER After our briefing, we cruise at a leisurely pace to explore Howth Harbour
3. LUÍ NA GRÉINE STATUE Luí na Gréine is the granite sculpture by Clíodhna Cussen on Greenfield Road in Sutton. The carvings on the stone depict the artifacts found at the site of the 8,000 year old midden at Sutton in the 1960’s. It is a marking stone that lines up with sunset on the winter solstice which can be observed sitting on the granite bench.
4. STRAND ROAD On back lanes and shortcuts that only locals know, we cycle to the unknown and quiet sunny side of Howth Head to Strand Road and Sutton Martello Tower overlooking the UNESCO Dublin Bay Biosphere.
5. MARTELLO TOWER SUTTON Visit the Martello Towers, built to keep an eye out for Napoleon’s ships. Take in the Dublin Bay Biosphere from the best aspect at Red Rock
6. OLD CARRICKBRACK ROAD Glance at the spectacular view of Dublin Bay as you ascend Howth Head.
7. BAILY LIGHTHOUSE AND CLIFFS Baily Lighthouse is a second lighthouse belonging to the village of Howth. Magnificently set on a rocky, verdant outcrop (the Howth Head peninsula), its mission is to watch over Dublin Bay and its ships. Baily Lighthouse is believed to have been built in 1814, replacing an earlier lighthouse deemed obsolete and poorly positioned on the Howth coast.
